Racine Shinmaebashi

We had to make a last minute booking here when the roads up to the ski resort area closed due to heavy snow. I think our expectations were low due to the average reviews, low price and because this was one of the only places with last-minute availability. I'm happy to say we were extremely satisfied with the hotel. It was extremely clean, well-appointed, the staff were great English speaking communicators all for a very low price. This hotel is an excellent value.

A good spot to crash for the night between hiking, fishing, etc at nearby Mt. Akagi. Staff were friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out was easy, and rooms were as expected - a place to sleep, a nice little fridge, clean bathroom, and nice amenities like toothbrush, soaps, etc.

I like the cleanliness of the room, hallway and bathroom. The yukata sleepwear is nice. The WiFi worked great. It is handy to have the ice machine and a microwave on the same floor or on the adjacent floor.

We stayed in a Japanese style room. It was like home and very comfortable. The breakfast was also wonderful.

My son stayed due to the college entrance examination. As he spent a comfortable stay, he could concentrate on the original purpose. He shared that the staffs were kind and the facility was clean. If your children will need to stay at Maebashi, maybe this hotel will bring good fortune ?!
